Dr Helen Ashton is a Lecturer in the School of Mathematical and Computing Sciences at Heriot-Watt University. Her specific area of interest is in the application of technology in education and has worked on a number of projects in this area. She has a wide range of skills and experience in both the education and technology fields. Current work in the area of online assessment includes research in to usage of such systems, the development of questions and specifications, and the development of delivery and reporting systems.
